The Pan Macedonian Association of Hamilton & District
Celebrating over 30 years of service in the Hamilton area, The Pan Macedonian Association is an independent non-profit organization that fosters and endorses Hellenic culture in the Southern Ontario region. The mission of the association is to preserve, promote and present the culture and history of the Greek world with specific interest in the region of Macedonia. Our annual programs involve the presentation of a wide variety of topics related to Hellenic Macedonian culture.
The Pan Macedonian Association endeavors to educate as well as become a community resource to persons and groups interested in Hellenism and other Hellenic organizations in the Hamilton area. Our aim is to foster an understanding of the historical influence of Hellenic Macedonian culture in its 4000-year development and influence on western civilization.
Volunteers carry out the work of the association and funding comes from memberships, generous donations and fund-raising ventures. The Pan Macedonian Association also publishes a periodic newsletter, which can soon be downloaded from this site.
We invite you to share our enthusiasm in learning about the enormous contributions the ancient, classical and modern Greeks made to the world. We encourage you to attend our programs, join our membership and volunteer your time. Share the greatness that is Greece.
Our Mission and Objectives
The Pan Macedonian Association of Hamilton was established in order to contribute as well as distribute a knowledge and understanding of Hellenic Macedonian culture through it’s 4000 year history.
“I do not feel happy for this victory of mine. On the contrary, I would be glad, brothers, if I had all of you standing here next to me, since we are united by the same language, the same blood and the same visions.”
